This video is called "It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time" Kmart 2007-02-14

For those less fortunate and unable to be here, you can imagine yourself riding this lift and watching the skiers during a powder day. This is a video of complete strangers skiing Outer Limits at Killington, as taken from the Bear Mountain Quad at about 11:30am today.

As you will see, it is not that great. Most of the skiers I shot weren't that good, and many were just standing around. Towards the end of the video, you could hear me blowing into my ungloved hand, which was "running" the camera. By the time I got to the top, my hand was numb.

..and it's 156 megs, and therefore google video isn't letting me upload it from the browser interface. So you get a nice, hi-res raw .mov of it. (If someone has the software to make a smaller version, I'll post it.)

But dammit, if I'm getting frostbitten hands over a video, I'm going to post it! And even though it's bad, it still sure would be refreshing to certain cubicle dwellers wishing they were here.. they could live vicariously through my crummy video!

Thanks Steve. Although the video displayed how EC JONGS have trouble with powder, it sure made me horny to hit the loaf tomorrow and look down at 2+ feet.
