how many times have you skied switch. how many times have you skied...nevermind
I'm not saying I could beat either one, and to answer that question, 15 and a half.
dropping in switch was way better plus although I dont like Tanner he was robbed a couple of times too.
About 3 years ago at the x-games qualifier, Chris Turpin dropped into th pipe switch, hit every jump switch and landed switch as well. It was the first time anyone had done an all switch pipe routine and it was all clean but he didn't make the finals. Not bug enough air, i guess.
His name is too French for the freedom loving judges.
Is there a reason you're asking this question a whole fucking week after the X-games ended???
Why does phUnk keep getting robbed is a more pertinent question.
Who won?
becuase every one in the world is SICK of seeing his ankle-grabbing, F me in the ass move...OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN....
and, if you think "amplitude" is the only thing that should be judged in the pipe, then it should be a one hit, big-air contest...
God, ESPN bugs the fucking shit out of me....
Did anyone ever tell Simon and Tanner and the rest of the "my pants are bigger than John Candy's" crew that they grew up in the suburbs, or even in mountain towns in states like Montana and Maine....NOT Brooklyn....
anyway, nobody got robbed....
Clearly, some of ya'll haven't been to Brooklyn recently. Tight pants are the rage, yo.
I dont think dumont got robbed at all. While his 1260 was bigger than anything Tanner threw, overall Tanner's run was more difficult and technical. He threw bigger spins, while Dumont mostly relied on the 1260 and a 1080 at the end to get his score. In between nothing was spectacular other than amplitude, but remember, they're not boosting as high as the height meter indicates. I think these were from last year, and I notice again during this years that the people standing on the deck of the pipe seemed to be giants.

I doubt that camera guy is 8ft tall...

You're damn right he isn't 8.5 feet tall, cuz the height meter starts at 3 feet you fuckwad, geez, learn to read the damn scale. Perhaps it was positioned three feet above the lip of the pipe, which would explain it, or maybe people at ESPN are fucktarded, who knows. Either way, these guys prolly went as big or bigger this year as they have in years past, and they sure as fuck went bigger than you ever have.
I heard there was some roast beef in this thread.
P.S. - That guy is clearly 10ft tall.
