the hot case...

My birthday started out pretty good...my husband got me a slingshot....to shoot all those pesky deer who root through our garbage...yeah he wrapped it with love in newspaper...I love him...

Later in the day we took the baby to grandma's and went to the bar...just like the old days...dressed like total hicks in our fleece line flannels and jeans...It was great...He even carved my name in the bar with the date...and a heart to dot the i.

The best part though...yeah we went to the grocery store and my hubby told me in front a bunch of old folk..."It's your birthday honey, and you can pick one item out of the hot case." Oh the look on those old folks faces...that was the best present ever. my reply was" can I have three peices this year, please?" They really thought that it was a big deal for me to get fried chicken strips...I couldn't stop laughing the whole way home...
