Yours were made in a different factory in north eastern africa I believe. 4FRNT is adament that it does not affect the quality. No idea about the mounting line, but it does not make a difference I assure you.
Yeah, mine are from Tunisia. Strange. I mounted around where the freeride line is on the one's above but have only gotten em out on icy gnar thus far...

I just bought some of last years 182 VCT's, I was thinking about mounting them 2 cm back from center...what is everyones opinion on this. Especially if you have ridden this ski
I did 1cm back and it's a bit more tail than I am used to - coming from Seths...but maybe that's what I need.

I ride last years VCT 182 at 2cm back from the center point, and they ride great everywhere, even switch. I have had no problems with tip dive, but i only weigh about 145 pldsQuote:

depending on what you want the ski for, Id definitely go somewhere between -1 and -3 from the freeride line.
its got a funky shape if you ask me, too much tail, then not enough, too big of a tail. basically its weird. Stiff havent found the sweet spot on mine on anything hard. They do great though in pow and crud.
so i weight like 170lbs, 5'11", i bought last years 182, If I am on a groomed run I ride switch about 65% of the time. If I am in the powder I only ride switch like 10% of the time. I like to Bomb runs, and I was thinking about mounting -2 or -3 cm from true center. I have been riding Trouble Makers 175's 3 cm forward from recomended line. What do you all think?

Seriously, those skis have a lot of tail at the freeride line and the tail itself is huge. Just mount it on the freeride line if youre that into heading ass first down the hill.

I 'm aboot to mount my 190's 1cm back of freeride. I ride switch 0% of the time.
Well, I am sitting in class right now, and I decided to tell you how the ski is working for me.
During the last week or so, we recieved over 70 inches of snow, so I really gave these skis a chance to shine. The few days before the snow, I also took the ski out on other conditions to see what it was like. I mounted my skis 2.5 mm forward from the freeride line.
Park: A little bit harder to move around in comparison to my trouble makers, but what do you expect out of ski that is 104 mm under foot? They are really fun for doing small spins (ie switch 180's, etc.). I definatley wouldnt take this to PC to ski the park.
Groomers: They feel a little bit planky and clanky at high speeds (tested on regulator johnson). They carve super easy, alot easier than I expected.
Bumps: It feels a little bit stiff in the tail for bumps, also to generate enough powder to switch from edge to edge quickly enough to line some bumps is pretty difficult.
Powder: AWESOME!!! These things float so well, I haven't skied a ton of powder skis, but I know that these ones rip. Sometimes I float so much that I feel like I can stop as if it were a groomer, they are super sick and super floaty. They also like to straitline crud really easily.
Extras: I was messing around with skiing some powder switch and stuff, they are pretty fun for that too. One of the most skis that I have ever skied on.
