I got bored in 6th grade, and conveniently enough, my teacher had it posted along the upper wall of the classroom out to like 50 digits. This is all I remember. 1000 is WAY different.
I once memorized the first 25 digits for a pi party. This guy had a system in which you were able to learn it in less than 5 minutes. Something like:
start with 3.14
after the number 14 comes 15
after that 4+5=9
...
The party wasn't worth it though. We stayed approximately pi^2 minutes. Oh, and I don't remember the number now.
Pi is exactly 3.
