Mt. Nebo

has anyone here skied it? good/bad/meh?

Hiked it in the second week I was in the state (coming from sea level) and did not have enough water or food, I got my ass kicked. After about the 4th false summit I crawled the rest of the way on my hands and knees, but I was determined to summit it. the only reason I could make it was all I thought about on the first 90% of the way up was all the skiable lines off all sides of the huge mountain, gnar cliffs, steep lines and wide open spaces.

Definently on my "hit list", not this year but someday. Pics would be cool if anybody has them.

Skied most of it last year. Upper 40 feet was wind pillowed. The NW couloir was too dangerous that day.

Thanks! looks like you got to the right conditions to get it lots of exposure in parts. Is the NW couloir whats between the West-ish peak and the summit and more or less faces SLC or is that some thing else? Thanks

NW couloir is off the northern high summit. It drops down to the access forest road that you use as the approach from the west and Pole Canyon.

It can get pretty windloaded during a southern wind event.
