Can anyone help me find a goggle that doesn't fog? I have 3 sets of Oakley A frames and they all fog up. They are terrible. Worst goggle ever made. If you like to venture off the slopes. I don't recomend anyone buying a set of these. My buddy has a set. of Smith Phenom's he sais are pretty good. Should I pull the trigger and buy a set. Any help?

I unfortunately have this problem with goggles too. I finally went and purchased some of the Smith Turbo Fan series goggles. They work really well. Unfortunately, they are extremely fragile. I have owned two pairs and both of them had the fan control rip off at the wire during a small tumble(and this is a tumble in powder, nothing packed down),
That said, while they work great, I cant justify a goggle that is going to break on the first tumble. I am now looking for something to replace these that will work with some sort of effectiveness.
If you can afford it, get some Smith Turbo-Fan goggles.

Plus, there are some older Smith Cascade Turbo's on Ebay. But they are big !

Do they work with a fullface? I've considered just ditching the fullface on moist days to save the angst and saving things that necessitate a fullface for better weather that would eliminate fog issues. A shop guy at Kirkwood told me he has a pro-tec fullface and can't wear any goggle, even the smith turbo fan goggles, with it on moist days because of fog. I have a Giro remedy which fits a lot better.
Wisdoms suck with a fullface.

Nice! I wonder if they would repair both of my pairs since it wasn't exactly a manufacture defect...just really weak ass wires in them break with the slightest tug on the control unit and suddenly *poof* the control unit is gone, lost in the snow somewhere.Quote:

Anyone have any luck with the anti-fog products, such as Cat Crap?

Thinking about it, you prolly should get and try a Smith-Cloth (anti-fog) before you spend $$'s on new goggles. Only costs a few bucks.
Just make sure it's not one from last season, you want a nice fresh one

I've never had good luck with those Smith cloths and I've tried them many times, I think I just overwhelm them with my massive sweatiness since other people speak well of them. The Parker's Perfect stuff (link above) does work well for me though.
Those Smith Clothes can help if you occasionally fog, but if your a headsweater like me... not much help.
I haven't tried the spray on anti foggers yet though.
Shoe, don't forget to put a couple of snickers bars and crap in with the goggles. I have always done this, and Smith's warranty department has always hooked me up... even with questionable fault items. Let them know that you appreciate their help:wink:Quote:
