Question for Idaho Mags
Wife and I are planning to get out to Boise in late Winter/early Spring to scout out a possible move to the area.
We want to get some turns in while there.
Obviously, each year is different but, generally speaking, when is the latest we'd want to get there to insure good conditions?

For lift served turns the latest you'd want to be out here is the beginning of April. March has traditionally been a really good month around here too, at least in the 12 years I've been here.
Bogus usually closes around the first or second week of April. Brundage closes around that same time and Tamarack might as well close around then too, but they push their season for some reason (read: push snow from the top down to the lower runout funnel)
for backcountry, that's a different story, you can ski in Idaho sometimes quite a ways into May and even into June if you look for it :D
PM me when you're here.
