Triple Crown event 2/3: O'Neill World Cup @ Sunset

This just wrapped up today. Parko steezed his way through the winners podium.

Sunset's dual personality showed: Clean and messy, mushy and barreling.

Some bomb sets coming through and a heaving inside bowl.

that was a sweet contest, really impressed by Jordy Smith especially for his wave selection and smoking AI in the semis. nice 10 ride by Parko,damn sunset can look heavy, looking forward to pipe live online.

Last I heard, sand hadn't exactly been cleaned out yet at the Pipe, which should make for an *ahem* interesting master's this year.... all the swells in the forecast have that N-NNW direction in them that's not too great for Pipe. It was a fucking mess out there today, that's for sure.

But if it's a backdoor only contest, then we should see a pretty mean battle between Parko and AI for the Triple Crown.

Probably more snow in the country right now than in tahoe....
