Tech help:Mounting Freeride+'s on Big Daddy's

I have a pair of 193 Orange and Black graphic big daddies. they have the Beta 4 channels down the middle. I am not mounting my powerplate (or whatever that is called). I am upgrading from my grey and yellow freerides to the new, red red black and silver Freeride+. The problem that i have is the new freeride mounting plates (red plates) doesn't fit down in the channel on the ski's. I have shaved a bit off one of them trying to get them to fit, but i am afraid if i grind it down anymore, i will punch through the plastic.

Do any of you tech's out there have a solution? preferably on the cheap?

Get the plates. I don't know where, but somebody here should.

The best solution would be to shave enough plastic off to fit in that channel. I know for a fact you can make it work with the grey/yellow freerides. I don't know about the new +'s. How far off are you from making it work>?

The new plus's are significantly wider, as I recall. I would be hesitant to shave too much.

My grey/yellows were shaved down. i started to shave the red plates down, but when i held them up to the light tomake sure i was not shaving too much off, i was starting to see litle bit of shady light (didn't punch through, but i know I can't shave anymore off).

a bit curious about the groove. What is the purpose of the groove? it does not look wide enough for the groove in the ski?

Are you training for some type of winter Ironman comp.?

that doesn't seem to be the ideal AT set up.

Its a great setup for everyone one behind me,i seem to break trail a LOT...hmm, that makes me start to wonder why i am always going first... it actually is not too bad of a setup. relatively light for something that big and it kills the powder. as long as there isn't too much ice or hard pack

I ended up with some of those and wouldn't bother. They seem to be cutting board but more fancily shaped, they have a fin that sits in the groove. Just get some cutting board and DIY.

that what i just did, 1/4 plate SHOULD work i hope. if anybody has any other suggestions PLEASE let me know. how much longer screws do i need when adding the 1/4" risers? (not a tech, so dont know if i need to add 1/4" or what)?

now the NEXT problem is trying to find longer screws with the same thread pattern. does anybody know where to find this, or anyone who sells them?.
