JONG Binders Question
I just picked up a mint pair of 178 Volkl G4's with Solly S810 demo bindings. I've been skiing the 188 G4 with S912s for a few years and got these real cheap just to mess around with a shorter length. I'm thinking of just picking up a pair of S912s or S914s to replace them with. Was hoping someone could help me out with how bad these demo bindings are and how much of a performance difference would replacing them make. Haven't spent much time on demos and never on S810s. Will I notice a big difference??

I had a pair once, snapped one of the toe wings off in the park, burned them in sacrafice to Ullr, ullr laughed at my sacrafice and sent rain, "what the fuck i be wanting with crap bindings boy! burn some 916s and you'll get your snow...." (exact quote)

Thanks for the replies. Any other opinions? Sounds like it's worth replacing them??

FUCK YES. Anything lower than a 916 will noticably suck balls, especially since you'll constantly be loosening the toe height/wing adjustment every time you ski. If you like completely unpredictable, full speed ejections from your skis, then go with them.

seriously, a bit of locktite solves the wing loosening thing. however, the spheric release is another issue, interested to see out the new sliding afd on the 914 is working.
