Got the 179's mounted with the new BD 01's.
Free pivot touring feels like a cross country ski and for the weight of the binding the ski is sOOOOOOOOOOO light. Got my first turns of the year this week. Excellent conditions for this time of year.
So I need some wider skins for the Bros. Cheapest is preferred but function is paramount.
I suggest making your own with duct tape. Traction is somewhat marginal, but weight, cost and stickiness are great. If that doesn't work for you, you can use those sick sewing skills and loom up some Ghost fur. I have plenty.
thinkin I should just take all these skinny skins and try and cut and sew them together.
I will try dog fur after I try that.
