the first real flakes fly....

Everybody knows that they're not going to stick, but the first fat, fluffy clumps of snow fell today. Its coming down out there. Preseason stoke from the flatlands of ann arbor. Every year I take a a couple snaps of the first real snow. People get geeked for Turkey day opening at the hills, picking up new gear, and spew starts to fly about the epic trips that will be taken.

Here is to powder, slippery roads, snowball fights, winter white beer and all the joy that a season brings us.

id say cheap wheels are better. IN fact Rotas for a honda are often lighter and wider than the fancy as wheel they are replicating. Cheaper, lighter, and wider. who cares what the name is.

I know you are kidding BSS but this is to ward off rotas "hatrz" lol

rotas are nice light and strong.

The guys at Rocket Racing have a 4 wheel drive dyno, and just got numbers off of a 600+hp WRX at the wheels.....Thats f'd up.

Strength is an important issue. I doubt any cheap cast wheel is lighter or stronger than its forged equivalent. That said, I have no problems with cheap wheels. If you arent being competitive or seriously beating on shit, I see no other reason to pay more unless you just want to name drop.

um. not to cunt up the thread but:
They are 5zigen FNO1r-c. 17x8.5, 13lbs each.
The car has a full JDM STi motor swap, 6 speed w/dccd, GT30 turbo and an 8200rpm redline. my only car and daily driver.

yes, awd drifting TR's will come soon:cool: the cops either threaten to ticket me, or sit back and watch the show.

so yes, I can do better than rotas :). that being said, my track wheels are slipstreams, I love em for the $$
