Kauai

Just bought flight there December 4th for 8 days. Getting hitched on the beach. Just me and my lady...no family or friends. Planning on camping most of the time and get a beater rental car. Any tips or recommendations welcome (PM me).

If you've never surfed, I don't think you'll have to worry about dropping in on locals. Use the search button jong, it is your friend (translation: we've had this discussion mucho times).

I'll admit being a total jong but won't admit to not doing thread search. :smile: Found some good info from your 2004 thread (I'm a big fan of the boondoggle) BigE, but thought there might be some more via PMs or what have you. Did post some stuff about not wanting to drop in on locals, but I realize now that I'll be on the equivalent of the begginner ski lift.
