SNOW!!! Drove to Kelowna this past weekend and there was snow in Sherman Pass along hwy 20!!! 4 days before i came home and there was still snow (NOT much, but it was there).

Did you drive from Spokane? If so, I can tell you how to save about an hour on the drive to Kelowna. It takes me about 4:15 from the north part of town. How long did it take you going through Republic?Quote:

I live in Spokane and ski at Schweitzer. I've got a small place up there too so spend about half my winter up there skiing.
Have you ever gone to Kelowna by following the Kettle River on the west side up to the Curlew cut-off? You can take that route then go through the Midway border crossing, up past Big White and into Kelowna. It's not well marked on the maps but it's good road and it's quite a bit faster than any other way. Just curious. We had it pointed out to us a couple of years ago and saved a bunch of time.
