Bro Model Recomendation

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which bro ski would be best based on your experiences. I am 5' 10" 165 and a fairly agressive skier. This would be an AT setup that I would probably also use for some resort stuff on deep days. I ski mainly CO and UT. I will probably go with the 179 length but am unsure of the soft or stiff flex. Would also consider the 188 soft if they seem to ski short. Any suggestions or experiences you have had with either or how they compare with other skis would be helpful. I have read many of the posts but it seems like changes have been made to the skis along the way so I am looking for any current info. Thanks in advance.

I'm three inches taller and 40 pounds heavier than you, and I ski the 188 soft. You'll probably be fine with the 179.

Either one. There's guys shorter and lighter than you on 188 stiffs. I love the 188s in all three flexes, the 179 in both, and the 192s, and I'm dad's size.
Personal preference and ability come to mind on this...

I demo'd the 179 & 188 stiffs, (150, 5-9). I was far more confortable with the 179 stiffs. Great ski's- just saving up the cash to purchase them. when I ski'd the 188s, i just felt as if i lacked the strength (or tequnique) to hand them. Go with the 179s- if i had the bank roll i would already be on them

Got both lengthes, me 5'10'', 175 lbs.
If the purpose is mainly AT go with the 179s, for mainly resort with the 188s.
