EC's - anyone up for skiing Magic on Sat.

I'll be at Magic this weekend if anyone is interested in meeting up. They got close to a foot yesterday and with another storm coming in this weekend - it should be a great day.

depending on my work situation I may be up Friday and then head to MRG on saturday. If I don't get cancelled I'll probably be at Magic on saturday

Hmmmm....I hear Magic has some good terrain/trees if they get they snow....Whats it like up there?

it's a fun old mountain. Slow ass chairs, brown bag lunch and no lift lines. Steep trees with lots of nice lines to be found but it needs natural snow to hold it's weight. I'm sure it will still be thin in spots but this should be a great weekend for Magic.

I hate work on Friday's and only wish it was quitting time.

I'll be the gapper with a red jacket/black pants/black helmet/Dynastar Bigs.

at this point roads look ok but we are begining to get below the freezing point so the rain that we got for the last 30 minutes may turn to ice, be careful out there guys

how was it? tempted to head down tomorrow, especially with a two for one ticket.

This weekend was great! All of the new snow that fell last week helped fill in all of those thin spots rather nicely. This mountain kicks butt when the conditions are good and this weekend they were great. Barely anyone there and I would guess they sold 200/300 tickets on Saturday.

I didn't give out any change but saw a few packs of rippers out there and I think southern VT has finally seen the goods Magic has to offer. I actually had to park in the back lot on Saturday!

Hit it while it's good and as always......pray for snow.
