my sis just called, said they had only run 7 or 8 guys cause of the weather. that is all.
I just got back from Alta - still snowing and vis isn't great.
Snow's great, visibility sucks. Doesn't look like a lot of people are gonna run today...
What the fack do you guys/gals do to allow you to have already been skiing today, its Wednesday for christ sakes... GRRRR!
being a student does not suck, for the most part. I've had more ski days in college than i probably deserve.
Or, a flexible job will allow ski time in the mornings.

well both my root canal appointments canceled this morning so I was able to go to Vail :D
That settles it, I'm quitting my dental practice (since mine is so busy and lucrative that no one ever cancels appts) and going back to school! What should I be?

I don't earn much, but I'm a Safety Coordinator for a construction company. They won't pay me overtime EVER, but I get paid hourly so I get to save up my extra hours and use them when it snows...
So today I only skied for like an hour and a half, but a bunch of Wildcat laps over an extended lunch are better than just sitting at work all day...

I guess the fact that you have a number of ski areas w/in 25 min. of your location adds to the viability of skiing on your extended lunch break. It'd be a stretch to ski on a lunch break here, it'd be more like a lunch trip.
