Mac Mail help please?
OK, so I was getting ready to send an email to a clinet, instead of selecting the one file and attaching it, I selected a zipped folder that was 166MB and attached it. I figured it would attach after a while, I would tell it to not send and delete the draft. Well it keeps trying to send, and everytime I open my email, it bogs down and locks up.
Is there any way to delete this file from the queue so that it stops bogging everything down?

Can you shut off your internet connection? Either unplug Ethernet cable or turn off Airport connection?
That way when you start up the email program it won't find a connection and won't try and send the email. Then go into the Out Box and delete that problem email.
Just an idea.

Tried that first, didn't work. Tried it again, didn't work. Finally shut down again, turned off internet connection and was eventually able to get rid of it, but it was a slow process. I had to open mail, wait, click on outbox, wait, click on file, wait, delete message, wait, wait, wait. Shut down Mail, wait. Suht down and restart computer. The whole process ended up taking better than a half an hour.
