PEEL:the peru project
I just saw this film last night and i must say that it was really well done. I knew that peru had alot of nice left hand points but god i had no idea it was that good. my next trip might have have just changed from the maldives to peru. who knows.....ill tell you one thing though, if your a regular footed surfer and you want to work on your backside, peru is the place to do it. those points just go on and on and on and on and on and on and on. most of them were like head high maybe a few feet bigger and totally doable. they didn't look like death waves, but super mellow and fun.
anyone else seen the flick or have any info on peru.
and truly how sketchy is it there. should i be super worried about theft, violence, and crazy local shit

Surfrider had a raffle. They gave away a fish, a longboard skateboard, and some other stuff. The same guy won the fish and skater.
Yeah, Peru is stacked with waves. My brother is down that way now. I'll be curious to hear what he scores.
The film was good. Not pure surf porn, but a movie about surfing and traveling.
