WTB: Tele Setup
After skiing the same 400 vertical foot hill for the past 12 years I've grown a bit tired of riding the lift for 5 minutes for a 30 second run so I've decided to try something new. A couple of things actually....telemarking & snowboarding. I have plenty of friends that snowboard so I can borrow their gear to learn, but I'll have to get my own tele setup.
Anyone have some old (or new) stuff they'd like to get rid of? I'm sure there's some maggots with some old skis/bindings they're no longer using, but I may have to break down and buy my own boots unless there's another clown shoe telemarker out there with some used 29.5s. I'm an advanced/expert alpine skier and a big guy @ 6'5" 230#.
What've you got?

I'd try telemarktips for tele gear, although some of the same stuff gets cross-posted here.
You wouldn't happen to be in Minnesota, would you? I made the transition to tele for the same reason - only so much you can do with 600 ft. of vertical.

Thanks, TTips is my next stop, figured I'd give the mags first shot though.
Not from Minnesota, but SW Ohio/Indiana sucks just as much. As strong a skier as I am, it's still difficult to build the endurance needed to handle 4000 vert. ft. when the most you normally see is only 10% of that. I think that telemarking here in the flatlands would substantially increase the amount of endurance I have along with giving me a good excuse to add to my quiver.
