A buddy of mine had a miller moth crawl into his ear once while backpacking. They couldn't get it out & it took him more than 24 hours to get out of the high country & to a doc to flush it out. He said it really bugged the shit out of him (pun intended) when it kept doing that little fluttery shiver thing millers do.

Heh. My wife pulled a roach out of some lady's ear last night in the ER. Actually sound quite miserable. I had a little gnat fly into my ear on a bike ride the other night and it sounded like mothra had got into my brain. But I killed it by squishing it around a lot. Might still be in there come to think of it...hmmm.
