TR: Montana fires - pics
I ended getting to see my fair share of fire this year. I was out on 2 fires, Gash Creek and the Derby fire, for a total of 32 days. Both were impressive, but the Derby was crazy. I saw fire behavior that I had never seen in my 6 seasons with the Forest Circus. Derby ended up going 208,000 acres.
I saw SherpaS over on the Gash creek. Was good to finally meet up with a mag on a fire :D

Sweet picks. I wish I would have been able to see a fire sometime in Bozeman this summer just for the sake of it. I guess it was better that I didn't though.
