I seem to recall that grocery stores can only sell 3.2 beer in Colorado. Is that true?
So, first of all, what a crock of shit. Second, I'll be in Steamboat in a couple weeks. Where should I go to buy regular beer? I'll be staying in a condo near the mountain.
Yep. Only 3.2 beer in grocery stores and gas stations. Crappy beer at that.
As for booze in Steamboat, it's pretty expensive everywhere. There's a big liquor store by the City Market/Wal-Mart complex.
If you're going to be hitting it hard, it might be worthwhile to load up in Denver (if you're swinging through that is).
Is this on the bus route? I won't have a car. I'll probably want to pick up some groceries at the same time, too.
yes, free bus will take you to the city market and the liquor store (central park liquor) is right next door. only a couple miles down the road no worries mang.
for a quickie, there is a small liquor store in ski time square. closed on sunday. i used to live right in back of it, prices aren't too bad - say hi to Bill for me!
