It's a cool idea, but most of the reason I have a topper is security -- so I can actually leave things like skis and bicycles in the bed and not get them instantly stolen.Quote:

Did you go above the wheel wells or cut out around them? I built mine above so I actually have about a foot of space underneath and it gives me a rectangular area to work with. I have a short-bed full-size truck, so it just happens to be the exact size of a queen size mattress. Ends up pretty slick.
