Besides, you dont want a DTS anyways.... Get the pieps DSP.... way better beacon.
In my Avi I class last winter, the pieps DSP got 30 feet more searchable range than all the other beacons in class (Ortovox M2 excluded); most were represented . I took my Ortovox X1 back to REI and said I wanted the pieps for the reasons stated above. They let me exchange for the full value of what I originally paid for the X1. Excited to use the pieps this winter.:)
For now... it'll be interesting to see how the DSP compares to the Ortovox s1.Quote:
