now that sounds fucking awesome. sometimes i do miss new england.
that's going to produce one hell of a mess.
Sounds tasty. Was there beer? I think you're friends may want to stand upwind from you for awhile.
Clams on pizza sounds gross, unless the whole thing was deep fried in signature tacotown batter, covered in peach jelly, dipped in chocolate and placed in a preserves jar full of marshmallow and twizzlers, and obviously put in a tacotown tote bag stuffed with cashews.
clam pizza was invented in new haven (supposedly), and new haven has the best pizza in the world (no, really.)

Just ask anyone from New Haven.Quote:

trust me, man - you're fighting a losing battle.
There was a smal place in Gloucester, La Lanterna. They made the best clam pizza (w/o bacon). Out of business and no one makes it. Makes me sad.
wow, I have a reason to go to New Haven now.Quote:

went to graduate school in New Haven... God I miss the pizza. Pepe's, Sally's and Modern... hit them all... as often as I could.
Has anyone tried the new Pepe's in Fairfield yet? I can't imagine it's as good... but since it's close to where my parents live I could drop by if it's worth it.
have bacon on my pizza quite often, but can't say i've ever had clams. Bacon, mushroom and Cheddar aka The Canadian in these parts. How's that dancing in your bowels goin' tex?
