It was pretty good. Lots of good laughs, but it just wasn't old school great.
I liked it, it was funny through the whole thing, not night at the roxbury good either though.

You gotta love NPR and Fresh Air. John C. Reilly was interviewed tonight, and all I heard was his thoughts on doing Streetcar on Broadway in two different roles for, like, 15 minutes, and the only mention of this movie was in the lead ins and exits to a break. I should send them more money.
Hey, I just went to the web site, and there seems to be a black fellow in the cast, who, I'm assuming, is a team manager or something like that? Whoa, we are not talking about NASCAR reality if that's the case.
They had guys kissing in the movie too. They were trying to piss off the NASCAR crowd, I think.Quote:

The subtleties were awesome. As good as Anchorman or Old School? Definitely not. But well worth my $6.

I was literally in tears with laughter during the part with the cougar in the back of the car. I don't know why.

Just saw it this weekend. Incredibly awesome. Need to see it again for sure. I was laughing way to hard to remember all the good quotes. The Jesus bit was priceless - I'm sure they could have went another 5 minutes with that part.
can't wait to see it - from what I have read, this is a "blue state take on a red state sport/lifestyle" - meaning theu take the piss out of nascar nation and dumb-ass american "values" - will be interesting if this stalls at the box office when the vast majority of people that pay $$ to see his movies realize he is making fun of them and everything they hold sacred.
