Ogden or Eden
Sup people,
Just gotta say that after lurking this forum for a couple years, I came across a thread last year that inspired a 7,000 mile road trip that started in California, spanned British Columbia and the Rockies from Banff south to JH and into the Wasatch for awhile, then back to CA and into Washington for the summer - slept in my truck 20 days before I found a cheap pad in Park City for a couple months. That trip rocked my world, my friends are infinitely jealous and it's your fucking fault. JONG that you fuckers..
Anyway, what's Eden, UT like? Such thing as a book store and a coffee shop in that town? Gotta go back to Uduh this year and heard Eden was cool but not much else about it. My expectations aren't huge, I'm just wondering if it's somewhere worth hanging around and waiting for storms. Also, is it better to score a pass at Snowbasin or Powder Mt.? (assuming you HAVE to choose..)
Thx..

Whoa. Eden [not equal to] Ogden.
Eden: pop. 3000 +/-
Ogden: pop. 78000 +/-
Not even the same league, let alone ballpark.

Not looking for a ballpark, looking for a ski town. Worth living in or am I better off in Ogden? I don't need much - breakfast joint, pool table (preferably somewhere that sells booze and isn't entirely populated by hags), maybe a coffee shop and a book store..
Thanks.

Hey what’s up? I just moved to Ogden (from Maine) and from what I can see if you live in Eden you would have to come to Ogden for all of your services. I’ve looked at places to rent in Eden and it seems to be priced about the same. I am also trying to decide if i want to get a season pass to Snowbasin or powder Mt. they both seem to have there pros and cons. The road to pow mt seems like it would suck in the snow. Snowbasin's access road seems like it would be easier to get up in a storm. snowbasin has a nice lift network but pow mt supposedly gets more snow. Pow mt is cheaper for a seasons pass to. At this point I think that I’m leaning towards pow mt. Any opinions to help me decide would be great. Being from Maine I think that I’ll be happy with wherever I end up!
