Just got back from Bobsled

Well, I tried it for the first time tonight. I went in via the route where you park your car at 11th ave and terrace hills dr. Slugged it up terrace hills and to the top of Bobsled. I've always been told that this is an easy ride...maybe its because I went backpacking in the uintas last night and got home this afternoon and then went at it...or maybe I've been lied to by my dear friends who like to make me suffer. Anyway, Bobsled was a blast to ride down. I took a nasty spill on one of the banked corners when my tire's sidewall bounced downhill off of a rock and the whole thing came out from under me. It was one of those spills where I hit the ground so hard and fast I thought I was going to puke. Also was worried that I had major league fucked up my shoulder...after laying there like a pussy for a few minutes I tried to move and found myself magically injury free (except for my pride) and my bike just a bit scraped up.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to doing it again. I have to work Mo-Fri 8am-8:30PM and Sat 9-12, so really Saturday evening and Sundays are my only riding oportunities (hence why I ended cramming both backpacking AND riding into the 1.5 days). Is this a popular trail with the maggots? I know its short, but it felt like a pretty good aerobic workout and a blast to ride down. Would anyone be interested in undertaking it with me the next time I go?
