Hey Buzz, just outa curiousity how did you come up with those channels? Might be kinds cool to have a standard Maggot/Minion Channel known to be used at all ski resorts/areas worldwide. That way, whenever your looking for change for a nickel, ya just hop on your radio.Quote:

4-19 is a channel I picked personally, never could hold out till 4-20. ;)

Only downside to 5-13 is it is FRS only which is limited to 1/2 watt. Choose a channel 8 and up for one watt service.
I prefer channel 6-9 but 5-13 is fine for me

fyi, the 5 came from Change for a Nickel, and the 13 from (un)lucky number 13
I thought that the very first time maggots used radios together we agreed on 4-21, since 4-20 is taken.
INCORRECT! FRS (Family Radio Service) channels 1 through 7 are shared FRS / IS-GMRS (Interstatial General Mobil Radio Service) and therefore your radio will broadcast at PEP above 0.5W on those channels if your radio is capable of it. Channels 8-14 are for FRS only and are therefor limited to a 0.5W PEP maximum.Quote:
