US Open and a request for magazine subscribing mags

Yesterday, one of my best friends finished 3rd in the Women's Pro category at the US Open of Mtn. Biking. It was really, really cool to see someone who is completely unsponsored beat girls who have full factory sponsorships. I'm so fucking stoked for her it's ridiculous.

I realize nothing is going to happen soon, but I'm going to try to put something together for her with press clippings, magazine articles, etc. So, if any of you subscribe to any bike magazines and see any articles with US Open results and/or pictures, please let me know so I can try to pick up a copy and include it. I'll probably bump this later once I see things about the US Open in mags, but please keep an eye out.

Anyways, props to Carolynn, the biggest hucking, fastest, coolest girl I know.

So is your buddy having new DH rigs dropped at her doorstep by the day or what? It is really something to have finished where she did, i can only imagine sponsership offers have been forthcoming. Though you have likely already been looking- the eastern MTB boards (bustedspoke and hcor) have been fillin' up with USopen coverage.
