Carfax?

Have a current Carfax account you wouldn't mind me using? Thinking about trading in my gas guzzling Grand Cherokee for something a little smaller and gas friendly. PM please...

From what I've gathered from talking to small dealers and mechanics, its a great marketing idea. They only provide you with information that the DMV has and other records you are required to be told by the seller.

Yeah, probably true, but I just want to find out if the cars I'm looking at are former rentals, which I definitely don't want, or lease returns, which may or may not be a bad idea. Also, I got into a fender bender on mine, so I'd like to see if it's on the record yet or not.
