I just checked my email account, 50 new emails from TGR. I get an email anytime anyone responds to a thread that I've posted in. I check my user CP it's different than normal. All of a sudden I'm "subscribed" to everything I post in. I can manually unsubscribe from threads, but that's like 2000 threads. I can hit 25 at a time, but that still sucks.
Anybody else get hit with this same problem? I'm running safari on a mac.

supposedly no one was getting notifications up until just recently....at least according to another few posts Ive read
I don't have that feature turned on, so I dunno. But I wouldn't really bet against it being Frozen messing with you.

Same here Md9. I got a few of the same emails this morning. I just checked my CP and all of my threads are set to instant notification.
I too, have this problem.
Pretty sure it's Frozen. He told me he was coming over last night and bringing ice. He didn't show. I had no ice last night. Not funny.

Sweet! I didn't realize up until reading this thread that I could change the notification setting for each subscribed thread (idiot). Sucks to do it, but it's do-able, so I will. ...and that explains why I'm still getting emails after I changed my default... because the default setting isn't retroactive = lame.
yeah this started yesterday for me, i posted it where it belongs though, in the "ask tgr" forum, like you are fucking new around here or something :rolleyes:
User CP -> Options -> "Default thread subscription mode" -> "No Email Notification" worked for me.
