Had kids skis shipped from BC to Mammoth through canadapost.ca. They hand off stuff to USPS at the border, but it can still be tracked. Aside from minor snafu with everything having to be shipped to PO boxes in Mammoth everything went to plan. The seller said he shipped that way to US on the regular basis.

I think he uses UPS, but I'm not positive.
I have shipped Canada Post with no problems in the past. Tracking number insurance etc. available. From the states I have had no problems with DHL.
Use Canada/US Post.
UPS and Fedex will quietly tack on at least $30 in "customs handling charges" and hand you the bill when the goods arrive on your doorstep.
Every now and then, the CEOs of both companies get together for meetings about this, where they giggle gleefully until soda runs out of their noses.
That is shipping into Canada - yes you are screwed- but going south no issues with brokerage though when I shipped south it was always to a family member I had only met on the internetQuote:
