Who makes the best.....
Pants with zip off legs. Here's the issue. I'm going to be doing some back packing around europe asia and i'm carrying a pretty small pack. 2000cu in.
I'm not taking much but will need to bring 3 pair of pants, i figure.
haveing pants and shorts in one is a big bonus. Who makes the best, lightweight zip off pants, in your opinion. For example, zip off carharts wouldn't fly due to the weight and all the space they take up, however those silly ass light weight addidas style gym pants material certainly wouldn't work either....see where i'm going. I've got to be very conservative on gear but have the best of both worlds/utility.
Hell if you have a good pack recommendation i'll listen to that too, thinking about it mine may not really weather the whole jaunt.
Werd!

Check out some of the REI brand pants. I have a few pair and like them a lot. They pack down pretty small, they're light weight, but not "light" like silky, and they're always on the clearance rack. :D

Im a huge fan of Ex Officio zip offs....they are treated so they stay clean even when wearing them for like a week straight....and they dry SUPER fast if they get wet...
