I need help finding skis for my nieces from Indiana ages 14 and 16. They have been riding 10 days a year for 8 years on rental equipment with numerous lessons. They both rip! I do 50 days a year in Tahoe and the girls were visiting this past weekend with my brother. The 14 y/o is probobly 5'4 90lbs and was shredding every type of terrain from deep powder to steeps with ease on cheap narrow 147cm rental skis. Talk about a proud uncle.. The 16 y/o is 5'3" 100 lbs. and prefers snowboarding although she is a reluctant expert skier. Both girls are advanced snowboarders too.
It's time they had some good skis.
Anyway. What types of womens/junior skis can you recomend so they could share a pair? I'm thinking a pair of park skis and a pair of expert all mountain for western resorts.
