I spotted some Marker M48 Racing Twincam bindings with din of
5.5-14 on some old skis for $25. Any opinions on whether they are worth picking up? I tried a search but couldn't find any info.

It depends.
Do you have pretty good health insurance?
That was a sweet binding
in 1986.
1986, hmmm. I have a 1986 Toyota Camry, it sort of still runs. Or it would if I got a new battery. Maybe I'll leave those M48s right where they are.
No.
I'm pretty sure those bindings are no longer indemnified. No shop in America will mount them, and good luck finding the jig. Not worth $25.
Those bindings fucked me up
Ya can never go wrong with markers, eh?
coming from some one who has broken 3 pairs of markers you can deffinatly go wrong with markers!!!
get salomon binders
I have had a coulpe of pairs of the old M48's, some to din 12 some to 14, no problems with either...but they are kinda old, would probably feel safer with my old 997 drivers from the same era (full ali heal , mostly ali toe)

If you are desparate for markers, I've got some DIN to 14 M54 Racing binders sitting here.
I'm not desparate for markers. I saw these and was just wondering. As a matter of fact, I would be happy to pick them up for someone who wants to put them in their private marker museum.:D
