Mini-Gadget left his cell phone on the bus and it hasn't been turned in to the lost and found department. MG is --> :frown:
Do you have a Verizon compatible phone that you would be willing to sale or trade?

I have an older Kyocera that I retired when I got my new one. It's a Verizon phone, nothing fancy but you can have it for shipping.
PM me, I got one for free for you. Can't get Verizon here, and cant reprogram it to a different network=yours.
I think I have a Verizon Motorola phone still lying in the closet. Yours free if I do. If I have it, I should have the battery, charger, etc., misc. bunch of stuff that the phone came with.
Warning: it's a crappy phone. Feels flimsy, and the "sweet spot" for listening is really small. Works fine, it just was never particularly all that nice.
Thank you all for your immediate and generous response.
If all of those other offers happen to fall through, let me know. I'm sure I have one laying around somewhere.
Thanks SnowRider, I'll let you know.
Did you get the Steamboat coupons?
Hey, I'd love to piggyback on this thread.
I'm also in need of a cheap-o verizon phone. The numbers '4' and '9' don't work anymore...which seriously limits is usefulness.
Anyone wanna hook me up?
thanks
Sure join in. You were such as ass-hole when you posted in one of my Sprocket Rocket threads, I'd like nothing more than for you to get your 4 and 9 working again. :the_fingeQuote:

IG - sent you back a PM w/ details on my Motorola -- just let me know. I would bet that bio-smear's Kyocera is a nicer phone though.
I'll check with him and see what that Kyocera looks like vs. my Motorola.
Thanks El C. - I did receive your PM. I had also sent one to Bio Smear; he told me to check with Verizon to confirm his Kyocera is still compatible with Verizon's service.Quote:

Flatlander - Goofy? Maybe. Would you rather spend a couple hundred bucks replacing what was a cheap phone or spend the money on something else. Like skis. Or bikes. Or insert your purchase here.
We just switched to Verizon, I now have several AT&T/Cingular phones sitting in a box. Based on the immediate and generous response to my original post, it sounds like I'm not the only one with unused cell phones laying around the house.
No problem IG -- just let me know if you need the phone.Quote:

I gave them my other phones, just kept the Verizon one since that's my current carrier, in case I needed a backup.
