Had a long and thought out TR written up for my trip to Utah over New Years and fucking Zone Alarm locked the connection on me.
Oh well. We had a snowboarder in tow, so Alta was out of the question. We skied 4 days a Snowbird and 2 at Solitude and were able to find untracked each and every day. Face shots galore were had, and much choking on powder ocurred. The final snow total for our trip was upwards of 70-80 inches, maybe more...absolutely incredible!
Unfortunately, we never ran into any mags/minions. The first couple of days, I asked for change to the point that it got embarrasing, so I simply started looking for friendly stickers.
I'd like to go ahead and thank Ullr for what was by far the best week of skiing I've ever had in my life. Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to ski unless there is at least 8 inches of fresh powder on the ground. ;)
