It's fun to watch a neurologist freak....

Went in to talk to a neurologist about some possible short term memory loss caused by my accident last summer.

He was rather shocked that my doc had taken me off of anti-convulsant meds as quickly as he did and the lack of followup that had happend. He also insinuated that my accident should probably have been reported to the DMV resulting in the loss of my driver's license, but since there hadn't been any issues so far, he would kindly refrain from reporting it at this late date.

So, I got my first EEG today and will be getting a full Head MRI as soon as they can squeeze me in (which given UCDMC's load may be a while).

Probably true. But given that the past is done it was somewhat amusing to watch a doctor become almost appoplectic about the choices made by my primary care doctor on the advice of the neurosurgeon that attended originally.

Seems that there is some neurologist-neurosurgeon methodological difference thing going on.

It's the same everywhere!
I'd go with the neurologist's advice. I like neurologists.
The neurologist who's clinic I participate in freaks regularly and yes, it is fun to watch.
