Jxn Resort, Randonee for gates?

So, I am going to Jackson on weekend of Mar 10th. Havent been in 11 years......STOKED. :yourock:

What are the gates all about. We have some deal where we get lodging and 3 tickets....so not going to Teton Pass, just Resort skiing.

Do i need full Randonee to get good stuff out of the gates?

Also, my buddy (who's the bachelor this weekend) is a boarder, how is access for him? Does he need his Split?

Nope.
95% of what everyone does is well bootpacked.
Bootpacking and sidestepping is it unless you head West deeper into the mountains towards Idaho.

Boarding? definitely no need for a split, but I would sure hate to do some of the longer return traverses on a board (or postholing)
