I always wanted a finished basement....
by the looks, they've already thought of it, but can you imagine the electric bill?
That's a thing of beauty. This country is so fucked up.
Back in the day, we always talked about it being the #1 cash crop in the state, but that could just be bs. With a 2 month ski season 'round these parts, that leaves plenty of time for growing herb. I do know the scope is nothing like some places in BC.
built the home on top of a natural cave system.
I know. The whole notion that it's illegal to grow a plant is ridiculous.Quote:

The house looks nice, though. Looks like he was able to harvest a few crops before they busted him :)
I don't have any idea how they were able to install that kind of infrastructure and remain covert. A hyrdraulic ram operated door? The amount of concrete poured? The complexity of the electrical and ventilation? Holy shit.
its not illegal to have a high electricity bill, nor own 100 grow lights. they have to find something physically incriminating. maybe they got sloppy with their garbage but i would think an op that big would be smarter than that. more likely they got popped by someone rolling over on them. loose lips sink ships. :(Quote:

I had forgotten all about it until I read this thread. But I'm sure the good guys have put an end to all of that by now.
No electric bill at all.

To power the sophisticated lighting and climate control system that kept the caves temperature at 87 degrees the men had illegally spliced into county power lines.
That is a pretty wicked setup...
what was their "cover jobs" used to explain all the loot?
Dentist.....
