Baker report, 1-3-03

All i can report is that it was freaking cold. 8" of fresh at 6 degrees this morning, and it was 1 degree when we left the tap room. Luckily hop and i were pretty hammered, so snow skating was pretty fun, although my knee i think is going to be bruised in the morning :D Grrr was subjected to me and hop being drunk, with deano and willet telling some stories, he will probably never be the same :D Oh yeah, there were some really good turns to be had, although bakerboy managed to completely puss out on a line because the snow at the top was shitty. All in all a fun day.

When I took my coat off at the end of the day and turned the sleeves inside out to dry, they were covered with white frozen sweat.

Yes, it was far into the realm of shitty. I guess that's what 50mph or so of wind scouring will do. And trying to gape down Hemispheres to get to any semblance of a respectable line was painful. On a scale from 1 to fucked, it was fucked.

But like wc said, there were some good turns to be had... Just not anywhere exposed.

But hey, wc made a breakthrough today!!!! He hucked into the double-digits! Hooray for wc!
