Squaw Blower Shots

Wow the snow was light this weekend. It was fun for something different, but definately not the usual Sierra coverage (too light for much hucking). Some runs were still scrapy, while others were absolute heaven.

Somehow Sunday was even better than Sat (like Corky said, some strange lake effects - they only reported 3 inches, but it skied like 8).

I made a rare north-shore appearance at squaw yesterday as well. Did laps off of broken arrow till the lower, south facing part got a bit sun baked around noon. Good stuff. Seemed like there was nobody there. Espically since the parking lot looked full. Maybe they were all in the bar.

This weekend Mt Rose had the best powder I've skied in my life: deep, light, dry, cold. Unreal! Face shot after face shot. Literally I could have used a snorkel because I was inhaling and swallowing powder.

(OK, I inhaled and I swallowed. But really, Corky and I are platonic friends).

I was stuck in Vegas all weekend at a bachelor party and all these TR's aren't helping the remorse, I can tell you that

god damn I should have flown back!
