Left Coast Maggots. The right coast needs your help

Guys. Remember the kind of winter you left coast maggots went through last year. Remember how frustrated and sick it made you all feel. Remember all the good wishes, snow karma dances , snow thrown on rockymtn trail maps, offerings to Ullr on your behalf, and even one idiot that kept a fan on high all winter pointing west (wait that was me:D). We right coast maggots did that for you guys all last year. We did it because our fellow maggots needed our help. Well your fellow maggots need your help now.

Well we could use some good old fashion snowdancing, good snow karma, offerings to Ullr back from you guys this winter. It's bad man. Really bad. :eek:

We need more. The slopes are melting. Plattekill is down to 3 runs. Skied rocks and grass Monday on the west side of Hunter:mad: WTF!

What has happened to you all. You left coast guys last year were posting about how bummed out you all were about the poor conditions. We right coast guys did nothing but post up support and positive vibes back to you guys. And only 2 replys. What has happened to the maggot kind. I'm severely bummed on this beginning of the new year. The storm that was supposed to hit us left us only an inch of snow. Thanks for the help lefties

I'm stuck in the middle, but i go both ways(You know what I mean). I'll be on the EC in Feb, and am hoping for nothing but the best on both sides.

P.S. I will become bicoastal only after my pilgrimage to SLC in 9 days.

In my Management Propaganda Rag, I mean newsletter, they put these tips in to help prepare you for the season. Maybe if you follow this advice, your problems will be solved.
Soak your gloves and store them in the freezer after every use.
Fasten a small, wide rubber band around the top half of your head before you go to bed each night.
If you wear glasses, begin wearing them with glue smeared on the lenses.
Throw away a hundred dollar bill....NOW.
Find the nearest ice rink and walk across the ice 20 times in your ski boots carrying two pairs of skis, accessory bag and poles. Pretend you are looking for your car. Sporadically drop things.
Place a small but angular pebble in your shoes, line them with crushed ice, and then tighten a C-clamp around your toes.
Buy a new pair of gloves and immediately throw one away.
Secure one of your ankles to a bed post and ask a friend to run into you at high speed.
Go to McDonalds and insist on paying $8.50 for a hamburger. Be sure you are in the longest line.
Clip a lift ticket to the zipper of your jacket and ride a motorcycle fast enough to make the ticket lacerate your face.
Drive slowly for 5 hours-anywhere-as long as it's in a snowstorm and you're following an 18 wheeler.
Fill a blender with ice, hit the pulse button and let the spray blast your face. Leave the ice on your face until it melts. Let it drip into your clothes.
Dress up in as many clothes as you can and then proceed to take them off because you have to go to the bathroom.
Slam your thumb in the car door. Don't go see a doctor.

Repeat all of the above every Saturday and Sunday until it's time for the real thing.

Funny thing is, their management style makes these tips seem really sensible. Of course they are clueless of the irony.

def need some stoke right now. Just got back from sunday river: pure ice everywhere. Not just boilerplate, but glare ice. Makes me sad after all the powder days I've had this year.

So like I am sitting here at Disneyworld, and I want to ski down Magic Mountain. All you guys in the mountains out west were asking for my prayers for snow for last year. If I had any heart, I'd stick my thumb out and head for the Rockies. If snow doesn't come, I'm going to move to the Caribbean and post my wishes here on TGR. Thanks for your support!

You Right Coasters can take as much of next week of storms off the Pacific you want. We're done with our share in the Sierra.. In fact we don't want em at all. Were totally generous. Hope they vector up to the Northwest or BC in fact. Anywhere up there. They'll likely be generous too. Oh yeah interesting thing. Heard bout sumthin called "pineapple connection" for several days. ;)
