Jackson Roll Call Jan 5th
So myself and SkiJunky are headed to J-Hole January 5th to the 12th. Looking to see if any maggots will be out there. We'll be there with a bunch of other college folk for the "Snowriders Fest" or what not.
Coming from a sick beginning of the year at Stowe, I expect to find as much if not more pow at Jackson. :D Also, I won't be one of the droves of "drink all night sleep late maybe go skiing" college amatuers. I'm all business, so I hope bury myself in pow with some maggot fools like myself. See ya there
This place needs more JH stoke!
Happy New Year's Eve from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

MOUNTAIN REPORT:
I normally associate screaming in wilderness situations with one of two things: fear, and/or pain. At 10 am yesterday morning, making my way down the Lander bowl, the only thing in the air aside from snow was repeated screaming. I could find no trauma out there, unless of course you count the shock to the brain of knee and waist deep powder, face shots, and untracked pitch after untracked pitch. Let me just say, people seemed happy, and I joined them with a few whoops of my own. So far its been a very good week, and it seems like it will only get better, with a snowflake gracing weather reports every day through the weekend. The lower faces were well tracked by the time the lifts closed yesterday, but powder stashes abound all over the mountain. Cirque was especially good at the end of day, but you really can?t go wrong out there. What's your New Year's resolution? I recommend you ski more.
