I've got Airport Express working fine, and the internet working fine, but can't seem to get them to work at the same time, I get a message saying "Looking for PPoE Host" when I'm in Airport Express. The other computers on the network can connect while Airport Express is running, anyone have any knowledge about this?
Are the other comps wireless as well? Some routers you have to turn the wireless on.
Yeah everything's wireless, it seems like it should work but it just doesn't.

How is your Airport Express connected to the internet? ADSL, cable modem, or local network?
Mine is connected via a cable modem with no problems.
I have dsl, a Westell modem and a Linksys router. When I click the wireless icon on the Mac it shows me two networks: AirTunes and Linksys.
If I click AirTunes I can send music to the stereo - and the other computers on the network can still access the internet but this one can't. If I click linksys I can access the internet on this one but I can't send music to the stereo. Really the only reason this is a problem is that I want to stream music from the net to the stereo and I can't do that now.
Somehow I need to be able to connect to the internet through AirTunes but clicking the obvious "Connect to the Internet" tab does nothing except keep spinning and saying "Looking for PPoE host". It's supposed to work seamlessly, the issue isn't even adressed in the user's manual or on their site.
All I can think is I screwed something up configuring Airport Express but I've redone it three times now and if I'm screwing it up I can't see how.
Clearly this problem isn't on the level of the search for a cure for cancer, but thanks for your help if you've got some for me.
You have your airport card turned on in your computer, right?
My only suggestion, the on that seems to fix all problems with my AE. Is to unplug everything-modem and AE-for like 5 minutes. Then plug modem back in, wait for all lights to come on, then plug AE back in and wait for green light to come on, then try internet again.

Even though the AirTunes and LinkSys are connected to the same physical network they're on different logical networks. Someplace in the AirTunes configuration it has to know about the LinkSys.
Or the LinkSys and AirPort are using the same local IP address since they're both routers and (probably) default to the same address.
Drink more Scotch. Might not help but can't hurt.
edit: I dislike setup wizards. In the routers there's a tiny web server that lets you view/fiddle with the configuration. With LinkSys you type in the router's IP in a browser. The AirPort is probably the same.
Some instructions use "gateway" when they mean "router". The AirPort has to understand that the Internet gateway is the LinkSys.
So basically you can't connect to both networks at the same time, which is your problem?
I don't know how airTunes works, but (wardware wise etc...), but if you could make it a branch of your linksys network you'd be set (I think).
You didn't wire your Airport to the Linksys or ADSL modem, did you? I think you can just hook it up to the stereo and use it only for music streaming.
Alternatively, you could ditch the Linksys and use the Airport as both a wireless access point and music device if the stereo is near the ADSL plug.
The AE won't bridge or piggy back a signal off a linksys, only another airport base station. Wasn't clear if thats what you were trying to do or not. Your linksys, may, however, be able to bridge wirelessly off the AE.
