Need to get these peices of shit off my skis so I can send em to the land down under. Got the heel piece and the toe piece off, but there's some plate under the toe peice that is still there but I can't see any of the screws holding it on. I'd rather ask about it than break the thing after I've sold it.
Got any ideas?
You´ve taken all four "normal" screws out from the toe and the plate still doesn´t come off? There are some different versions of the rental Salomons, but mostly the toe piece is quite easy to get clean from all rental shit.
what ski were they on ? aany chance you can send a photo off the offending piece ?
Ok uh, I swear I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but I just want to make sure; are you sure its not the pilot plate?
if its not the pilot plate then rip the damn thing off! its probably just stuck on from a build up of spore shit.
Did you unscrew the toe peice from the plate underneath? If so, even though it defies logic, screw it back on. Then Push the lever infront of the toe peice up and rip the toe peice off the track towards the tip of the ski. Once that's off, it can get kind of hung up and be a pain, unscrew the four screws that hold the plate on and there you go. I know this seemd destructive and wrong but it's actually totally right and I have done it about 1000 times (ex rental shop guy).

Thanks for the help. The actual problem was the sizing bar thing, it runs under the arch of your foot and has A-G and all the different sizes on it. Anyway I had to get that off before I could slide the thing forward.
