Anyone going up?
I'll be at Loveland in the pm on Friday, looks like, either solo or with my sister. Tan pants, Orange boots, 777s, red lid with PMs on it.
My phone will be on Friday morning if you've got the number.
I'll spend a lot of the day gasping for breath. Stop and say hi.
This weekend depends on where this storm blesses us, methinks.
I got jacked on the whole Alta experience...Why not come and ride Copper? I'll ride with ya.. I have to pay at Loveland, or else I'd meet you there. Just a thought....

Have plans to hit up Eldo this afternoon, but might be at Loveland this weekend if there's anything still dropping from this storm after it churns through Utah.

I get back to Boulder monday. Anyone up for summitt county, vail or BP tuesday or weds??? Looks like it should be a decent week up there.
I'll be back at it starting tuesday in summit.

WP today. grey pants, olive green jacket, new scratch BC's, change for a nickel.
B- I was at WP today too... got some fantastic turns in the trees on the Frenchman/Outhouse ridge, and also skiers left of the sunnyside glades. I'd say they ended up with 8 or so fresh, but it was pretty tracked out. It was COLD up top... I jumped in to the warming hut at the top of Jane and the temp was 2 degrees, plus the wind was cranking at times, too.
Don't know where I'll be tomorrow... may skin Eldora.
Monday-Thursday I'll be in Vail, but willing to drive elsewhere if anyone has plans.

OK i am officially spoiled by cali. i was so cold i (almost) couldnt enjoy the 6 inches of new! my hands were too cold to hold my poles. i had to buy the gaper's favorite accessory -- hand warmers! how embarrassing. weather.com says the high yesterday was 12, with windchill making it between -2 and -9.Quote:

but i warmed up by towing my little sister (who out-sizes me by about 4 inches and ? lbs) on her snowboard whenever we hit flat runouts! :D
